Heart Smart Inc. is an authorized distributor of North East Monitoring, Inc.,which was  founded in 1991 for the purpose of developing and manufacturing state-of-the-art Holter monitoring software. In the early years, NorthEast's Holter for Windows® product ran under Windows 3.1® and was used with a cassette recorder.

Through the years, NorthEast has continued to build its reputation as a provider of products that are innovative, cost effective and unmatched in the Holter monitoring industry In 1995, NorthEast introduced the DR180 digital recorder, designed to work with Holter for Windows®.

The latest version of NorthEast's software, Holter LX® Analysis version 5.3 runs under Windows XP® and Windows Vista® operating systems and is designed to work with both the DR180+ and NorthEast's new Holter Recorder with Event - the DR200/HE. NorthEast currently has thousands of units in use worldwide.

LX® Holter Software 

The Holter LX® software version 5.3 comes in five levels of functionality: Remote, Basic, Enhanced, Enhanced Plus, and Pro. Each level is tailored to address the varied needs of our diverse user community.

LX® Sleep Testing Software 

Medicare has approved Home Unattended Sleep Testing and providers can utilize our DR180+ OxyHolter for accurate portable home testing. Previous LX® users can easily add the LX® Sleep software option and DR180+ owners can upgrade to OxyHolter with the addition of an OxyHolter cable, thereby creating the most accurate and easy-to-use OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea)detection system on the market today.

LX® Event Monitor Software

The LX® Event Software raises the standards of convenience and flexibility for handling ECG data from looping event recorders. LX Event softeware is compatible with event recorders from other manufacturers, but offers special advantages when used with NorthEast's DR200/HE Combination Holter + Event recorder or DR200/E "Tel-a-heart" event recorder.

LX® Pro Database Software

Based on the popular FileMaker® Pro & and Holter LX® Pro, this database stores up to 1.5 million complete patient reports in a searchable format. It is aimed at larger facilities that must efficiently manage and “mine” thousands of patient data sets to see trends, support research, generate complex comparative studies and in general manage large amounts of cardiac patient data.

DR180+ Digital Holter Recorder

The DR180+ 3CH (3 channel) comes in 5- 7 or 12 lead configuration. It is designed with the following three goals in mind: ease-of-use for the patient and clinician, accuracy of the data and durability of the unit.

DR180+ OxyHolter® , Holter and Oximetry Recorder

The OxyHolter® is unique in the industry. It represents a quantum step in your ability to quickly isolate (or correlate) cardiac and pulmonary issues. With synchronized sets of data -- one set of cardiac data (standard Holter) and one set of pulmonary data (saturated O2 levels via pulse oximetry) conveniently obtained via the DR180+ and NorthEast's proprietary OxyHolter® cable -- the system helps to determine the need for further tests and/or root causes of many pathologies.

The DR200/E “Tel-a-heart™” is available with several options to fit a broad range of requirements for ambulatory event recorders.

DR200/HE  Combo Holter and Event Recorder  

The DR200/HE is the industry's first combination Event plus 14-day Holter recorder. It can be deployed to a patient in either Event or Holter mode. In Holter mode with a single, fully charged AA battery and a 1GigaByte data card, the unit can operate as a 14-day Holter. When the DR200/HE is combined with Holter LX Analysis and LX Event software, you have the flexibility to use your capital equipment in the most efficient manner and you’ve increased the probability of capturing elusive cardiac events. It is the best solution for your practice and the best solution for your patient, which is another good combination!

When deployed as a Holter, the DR200/HE has either 3-, 5- or 7-lead cables. When deployed as a Tel-a-heart Event monitor, it uses a 2- or 3-lead cable. The DR200/HE kit includes Holter cable (including spares), pouch, belt clip, removable media memory card, Operator's Manual and Hook-up Guide.
